Ace Hardware, a Church Picnic, and a Late Coding Session
A good, well-rounded day: a morning shift at Ace Hardware, an evening picnic with my church small group, and another coding session chasing down a real production bug in OmniBridge's video pipeline.
Morning shift at Ace Hardware
Worked my regular shift at the Ace Hardware here in Zion, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It was delivery day, so most of the shift went to stocking the store.
Church small group picnic
Spent the evening, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at a picnic gathering with my church small group — good food and better company after a busy week.
Another OmniBridge coding session
Rounded out the day with more work on OmniBridge, the live video routing gateway I've been building. Shipped a real fix for a vMix freeze bug that's been reported live from a customer install, then started designing the next piece of that same effort — an optional mode that trades some CPU for a fully seamless switch whenever the video feed changes.
